Hi, Lisa: You might be interest to know that if you follow your cameras TTL meter to determine correct exposure, your white snow, frost, and ice will always turn out gray. To make your whites white, over expose from what your meter reads by 1 to 1 and 1/2 stops. Spot metering works best in these situations, but you will also get similar results with matrix metering. Thanks Glenn. I looked at my original and they were whiter, it was the auto enhance of color in PSP 7 that I lost the white and then I did gray scale.
