Why thank ya, matey! Took this back in August or earlier. Almost looks like the ocean, doesn't it? This lake has such great color as lake water goes. Most lakes around here have brownish water. THis one stays steel blue year round practically. I love the expression on the girls' faces. The girl on the right is my daughter. (I was in the back of the boat, obviously, and looking through the viewfinder was making me sooooo sick!)

Do you have any more like this. Action shots are a rarity on this site! good luck again Piper

Man, this shot is awesome. The depth-of-field is just right and the colors are saturated at perfection (if that is the proper way to say it ;)

This shot looks more like a vacation resort commercial more than anything else!!! By any chance, did they fall off right after you took the shot, just wondering...

Rock on,
Vasko

Ha! No, they didn't fall off for a long while. We were trying to make them fall off--they were bouncing about 3 feet in the air. They love it. This is my daughter on the right. she's also a pretty good skier. She's 14 and can slalom like nobody's business.

I've been told that about my lake shots looking like they belong in a vacation brochure before. I have a couple more on my Web site that are positioned in a group, and together, they really do look like a promotional brochure. Hmmm--I think it's time to hit the ranch people up for some business!

Thanks for your kind words.
