HI, Guy: As you know I've always been a fan of your landscape work, however, I find this portrait somewhat too greyish and dull in colour. I think what would have worked best for this is to have used a reflector (yellow, gold, or white) below and slightly to the right of the subjet. This would have thrown some of that wonderful warm light seen in the subject's hair back onto her face and front. Of course, who carries reflectors around. Cheers, Glenn

Sorry Glenn, but I don't agree with you. I think that reflecting light to the front of the photo would have taken away the wonderful natural look that Guy has managed to achieve. I like the highlights in the hair and I certainly do not find the photograph dull! Malcolm
