I know I have a few other photos up, but I felt the need to post these. I took these from Ground Zero last December and never sorted through them. You can tell it was pouring rain. Feel free to add comments, but don't feel obligated to critique. It is more of an acknowledgement of today.

Thank you Elaine. As a flight attendant I can only imagine the horror my colleagues faced in the air. As a human being, this day changed the world as I knew it. Thank you again for your acknowledgement...

Elaine, Thank you for posting these. It's nice to see what they did in NY as a memorial. I especially love your last photo. :)

Elaine, I, too, like the last image but I am going to pull a "Dale" here and say that you need to straighten it just a little bit. The first one is very simple, to the point and makes a great abstract.

Thanks. I just thought of it spur of the moment last night and did not edit any of these. It was more important for me to post them yesterday, than to fix them up and get them up at a later date. And yes, Debbie, you've got eagle eyes-I noticed that too, but that is work for another day:) I am sure there is more I can do on the others too-I'll just put them in the queue. Hope you guys have a nice day today.

Thank you for the fitting reminder Elaine, I was in NYC in the spring and was amazed at how far along the freedom tower is but didn't make it down to the site..

Very moving. I feel the first image is especially powerful how you captured it... that black whole really gives you a feeling of being empty, where there used to be so many.

I highly recommend going to see this. I had very mixed feelings about going to the memorial, but it was very well done and very few people were there. At the time, you needed to get a ticket (free) to get in, so you need to plan ahead. I loved that it felt pretty empty and there was no feeling of having to rush out of there. Very simple and plain, but very well done. I have a movie that captures the sound of the waterfall.

I'll remove this in another day or two.
E.
