The Apprentice
This Photo was taken at a Blacksmith and Clog factory at the base of a functioning windmill in Holland. The lighting of the blacksmith shop simply reminded me of a scene on a old hand held View Master slide viewer. The heat from the furnace was strong and could be felt out to the entrance where I was standing. The apprentice was very focused on his work. The Blacksmith was stepping out when I arrived and when he saw the camera, he encouraged me to take this picture.
